High Quality Taste

Located on the south shore of Nova Scotia, district 33 & 34 stretches from Lunenburg County to Shelburne County and includes the towns of Liverpool, Bridgewater, and Yarmouth. We are proud to be home to one of the world’s most renowned lobster fishing industries.

Long Point Lobster & Seafood is dedicated to sustainably managing the lobster population and protecting the fishing grounds for future generations. we boast a robust facility with seven state-of-the-art tanks specifically designed for premium lobster holding, ensuring optimal conditions for our crustacean inventory.

Our lobsters are known for their high quality and taste, thanks to the cold waters of the Gulf of Maine that flow into our region. The fishing season typically runs from late November to late May, with the peak season occurring in the spring.

Our fishermen use traditional methods, such as baited traps set on the ocean floor, and we are proud to be a community of small, family-run businesses. The lobsters are then brought back to shore and processed at local facilities before being shipped to markets worldwide.

The lobster industry is vital to our local economy, providing fishermen, processors, and support staff jobs. It also contributes to the tourism industry, as many visitors come to our region to experience the lobster fishing culture and taste the delicious seafood.
